Lectura de los textos
Patrones entre relatos
Estos patrones describen dónde el Corán coloca juntos elementos comparables que la Biblia narra en relatos distintos. No determinan dependencia, identidad, cronología ni motivo.
Patrones fuertes entre relatos
Talut's river test
Q 2 places a river test inside Talut's campaign before David kills Jalut. Judges places a water-selection test in Gideon's separate campaign; 1 Samuel places Saul and David's Goliath episode in another setting.
Lo que los textos no establecen: The texts do not identify Talut as Saul, call the two water tests the same event, or state dependence.
Abrir historia relacionada →Moses at Midian and marriage service
Q 28 places Moses at Midian's well with two women and their flocks, then gives a marriage term of eight or ten years of service. Exodus has Moses' Midian/well/daughters/marriage setting; Genesis has Jacob's marriage-for-years-of-service arrangement.
Lo que los textos no establecen: The texts do not state that the two accounts are connected. The women and flock already occur in Exodus, not only in Genesis.
Abrir historia relacionada →Patrones posibles; el texto por sí solo no establece una conexión
The cow, a killing, and a corpse
Q 2 puts a specified cow command beside an unexplained killing and a command involving the slain person. Numbers has a red-heifer purity law; Deuteronomy has an unsolved-killing heifer rite.
Lo que los textos no establecen: The animal requirements, action, and outcome differ. Neither biblical law strikes a corpse with part of the animal or reports a revival.
Abrir historia relacionada →Haman, Pharaoh, and the tower
Q 28 and Q 40 place Haman with Pharaoh in Moses' setting and connect him with a tower. Exodus has no Haman; Esther names Haman in another court; Genesis narrates Babel's tower.
Lo que los textos no establecen: A shared name does not establish that the Qur'anic Haman is Esther's Haman. The texts do not identify them as one person or settle chronology.
Abrir historia relacionada →Abraham, idols, and fire
Q 21 connects Abraham's challenge to idols with preservation in fire. Genesis has Abraham without that fire episode; Daniel has named Judean men preserved in a furnace after refusing an image.
Lo que los textos no establecen: Idol conflict and fire-preservation are not distinctive enough on their own to establish a connection.
Abrir historia relacionada →David's legal scene
Q 38 has two adversaries, ninety-nine ewes, David's judgment, and repentance. Nathan's parable to David uses a rich man and a poor man's one ewe; Solomon's famous formal judgment is a separate biblical scene.
Lo que los textos no establecen: The Qur'anic dispute closely resembles Nathan's parable, but the texts do not require a feature from Solomon's judgment.

The Samiri in the golden-calf account
Exodus names Aaron as the craftsman of the calf. Q 20 presents the Samiri as producing the calf and Aaron as warning the people.
Lo que los textos no establecen: Sahih International does not define Samiri as an ethnic Samaritan. The primary texts do not establish the figure's identity, date, or a link to later groups.
Abrir historia relacionada →Moses striking the rock
Q 2 and Q 7 say Moses strikes a rock and twelve springs emerge. Exodus already has Moses strike a rock for water; Numbers has another rock-and-water event.
Lo que los textos no establecen: The twelve springs occur in neither biblical rock account. This difference does not establish that the Qur'an combines the two biblical incidents.
Abrir historia relacionada →Mary, 'Imran, and Aaron
The Qur'an calls Mary daughter of 'Imran and reports that her people call her sister of Aaron. Exodus identifies Aaron and Moses as sons of Amram; Luke identifies Jesus' mother as Mary.
Lo que los textos no establecen: Neither text explains the Qur'anic expressions or explicitly equates 'Imran with Amram. This is an unresolved identity question.
Abrir historia relacionada →Clay birds, cradle speech, and the table
The Qur'an narrates Jesus making birds from clay, speaking in the cradle, and a table sent down from heaven. The Bible does not narrate those episodes.
Lo que los textos no establecen: Broad motifs such as meal, clay, breath, or healing mud are not enough to establish a cross-account pattern.
Abrir historia relacionada →Other shared-story differences
The full story audit also reviewed Adam, Cain and Abel, Noah, Abraham's sacrifice, Joseph, Moses and the unnamed servant, Qarun/Korah, Solomon, Elijah, Jonah, Zechariah and John, Jesus' ministry, and the crucifixion.
Lo que los textos no establecen: These records contain agreements, additions, omissions, ambiguities, or contradictions. A narrative difference alone is not a cross-account pattern.
